The Stepmom Summit 2026: Free Virtual Event for Stepmom Support

Stepmom Events

If you’re searching for stepmom support, blended family advice, or practical help with stepfamily relationships, there’s one event you need to know about this September.

The Stepmom Summit 2026: Out Loud takes place September 14–18, 2026, bringing together more than 30 stepfamily experts and thousands of stepmoms for five days of live education, coaching, connection, and practical support.

It’s 100% virtual, 100% live, and completely free to attend.

Registration is open right now.

And this year, we’re doing it Out Loud.

Because stepmoms have spent long enough keeping the hardest parts of this role to themselves.

I know because I spent my first year as a stepmom crying on my closet floor, then coming out, wiping my face, and telling everyone I was fine.

I built this summit for the woman still doing that.

Find Your Voice. Take Your Place. No Apologies.

What Is The Stepmom Summit?

The Stepmom Summit is hosted by Cameron Normand, lawyer turned certified stepfamily coach and the founder of Stepfamily Solutions. Now in its sixth year, the Summit has welcomed more than 7,000 stepmoms who came looking for support and left feeling seen, understood, and better equipped for the realities of stepfamily life.

This isn’t generic parenting advice repackaged for a blended family.

The Summit brings together therapists, researchers, coaches, authors, parenting professionals, and legal and financial experts who understand how stepfamily dynamics actually work.

Sessions tackle the issues stepmoms are dealing with in real life, including:

  • Stepmom resentment and burnout
  • Healthy boundaries with stepkids and ex-partners
  • High-conflict coparenting
  • Marriage and relationship stress
  • Parental alienation
  • Guilt, perfectionism, and emotional overload
  • ADHD and emotional regulation
  • Identity and belonging in a blended family
  • Money and estate planning for stepfamilies

A few of this year’s actual session titles:
👉🏻 “It’s Not Just You: Why Stepmom Resentment Is Normal, and How to Stop the Spiral.”
👉🏻 “What Stepmoms Are Afraid to Admit: The Real Reason You Burn Out.”
👉🏻 “Not Mom, Not a Guest: The Real Place of a Stepmom, According to the Research.”

If one of those made your chest tighten, that session was written for you. The goal isn’t to give you another list of things you “should” be doing.

It’s to give you practical tools that fit the family you’re actually living in.

Why Is This Year’s Theme “Out Loud”?

A lot of stepmoms become experts at keeping things in.

You don’t want your partner to think you’re criticizing their kids.

You don’t want friends who aren’t in blended families to misunderstand.

You don’t want to admit you’re resentful, overwhelmed, lonely, or unsure where you fit.

You don’t want to say the thing you’ve thought a hundred times: ‘I feel like a guest in my own home.‘

So stepmoms quietly carry experiences that are actually incredibly common.

That’s what The Stepmom Summit: Out Loud is here to change.

For many women, The Stepmom Summit is one of the rare places where they don’t have to minimize, explain, or hide the fact that they’re a stepmom.

It’s a place to talk honestly about the realities of stepfamily life, learn why stepfamily relationships often work differently from first-family relationships, build healthier boundaries, and find better ways to navigate the role.

This isn’t a complaint session. It’s five days of finally naming what’s happening so you can do something about it.

Find Your Voice. Take Your Place. No Apologies.

Real Stepmoms. Real Situations. LIVE Coaching. 😊

One thing that makes The Stepmom Summit 2026 different is that you’re not just listening to experts talk about what you should do.

This year includes two live Unstuck coaching sessions featuring real stepmoms, real situations, and real-time coaching.

Nothing scripted. Nothing edited.

You’ll watch trained coaches work through actual stepfamily challenges and hear the questions, boundaries, and strategies they use to help someone move forward.

Sometimes hearing another stepmom finally say her “thing” Out Loud, the thing that maybe you’ve been struggling to put into words, is exactly what makes it click.

(VIP Backstage Pass holders also get an exclusive live group coaching session with veteran stepfamily coach Barb Goldberg.)

Who Should Attend The Stepmom Summit?

There isn’t one type of stepmom.

You may have your stepkids every other weekend or full-time.

You may be navigating a high-conflict ex or have a relatively peaceful coparenting relationship.

You may have biological children, an ours baby, or no biological children of your own.

You may be newly married or have been navigating stepfamily life for years.

And you can absolutely love your stepkids while still finding your role difficult sometimes.

If you’re looking for stepmom advice, blended family support, healthier stepfamily relationships, better communication, stronger boundaries, or tools for navigating coparenting, The Stepmom Summit was created with you in mind.

The Summit is also valuable for therapists, counselors, social workers, coaches, and other professionals who want to better understand stepfamily dynamics.

Is The Stepmom Summit 2026 Really Free?
